In winter, ski and snowmobile tracks pass right by, and the Ski Bus takes you to the fell and to Äkäslompolo.

And when the dark nights return, the sky begins to move.

The northern lights appear above Lake Ylläsjärvi – quietly, unexpectedly, exactly when it’s their time.
