Jongunjoen Matkailu is situated just outside a tranquil village in Lieksa, in the North Karelia region.

The resort offers accommodation in wooden buildings, outdoor activities, and relaxation in a beautiful lakeside setting.

Jongunjoen Matkailu`s lakeside inn provides accommodation in four double rooms or the holiday house.

Jongunjoen Matkailu serves breakfast and other meals in the restaurant for overnight guests, on pre-order. The kitchen serves home-cooking dishes using seasonal, local, and organic products. The kitchen also takes care of special dietary requirements (gluten-free, vegan, vegetarian, lactose-free, etc).

Jongunjoen Matkailu has three different kinds of saunas, two by the lake. We also have two Nordic outdoor baths, two piers and swimming stairs.

We offer a wide range of nature and cultural activities and programs during the four seasons. Guests can be active or just relax, enjoy the silence, nature, and the peace of the lake landscape. All outdoor activities are well suited for all levels. Possible outdoor activities in our area include canoeing, sup boarding, kayaking, pack rafting, fishing, hiking, mountain biking, birdwatching, wildlife watching and photography, back-country cross country skiing, snowshoeing, ice fishing, dogsledding, stargazing and admiring the beautiful northern lights.
