Kartanokahvila Kaisa Café

Stop by and step into the gracious atmosphere of the 1880s at Kartanokahvila Kaisa Café in Liminka.

Located just off Highway 4 and near Highway 8, about 25km south of Oulu, this summer café invites you into a beautifully restored 19th-century manor house. The historic building, once a home for a prominent Oulu family and later a municipal home, now opens its doors as a charming stop for travelers.

The manor has long been a site of innovation – hosting Liminka’s first dairy, telephone, and even Northern Finland’s first dairymaid school. Today, the old barn still stands as a landmark for visitors.

Since summer 2023, the café has welcomed guests to enjoy coffee and baked goods in its carefully renovated rooms or out on the sunny patio.

For fans of Finnish ceramics, Kartanokahvila Kaisa offers a special treat: a collection of around 500 vintage Arabia coffee cups.
