Hunting Lodge in Muurikkala

This newly renovated hunting lodge in Muurikkala is ideal for travellers, hikers and cyclists. The house is well located, about 1 km from the Lappeenrannantie (road 387). The yard is accessible by car and there is parking space. The hut sleeps six people; three on a fold-out bed and three in a bunk bed. Blankets and pillows are provided, the tenant brings his own linen. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances and basic crockery. The sauna in the cottage is wood-heated. For added comfort, there is an air-source heat pump and electric heating. In the evening you can sit on the new terrace or by the fireplace under the shelter of the huge laavu. Firewood can be found in the storage. For extra sleeping space, and adventure for the kids, the lessee can even put up a tent in the courtyard. You can also come here by camper van or caravan.

The hut is surrounded by extensive forests suitable for berry picking and mushroom picking. Muurikkala is also a great place for birdwatching. Snow conditions permitting, the hut has access to the Muurikkala ski trail network. Muurikkala village also has a charming tiny swimming beach by the river and ice skating rink.
