Meet the Huskies of Rovaniemi in a Peaceful Arctic Retreat.

Just 15 minutes from Rovaniemi city center, a hidden husky kennel awaits in the quiet forest. Home to around 50 beloved dogs: Siberian, Alaskan-Arctic, and reindeer breeds this family-run place offers an intimate and ethical sledding experience.

Upon arrival, friendly mushers greet you and introduce your sled team. After a short safety briefing, you’ll set off on a scenic 2 km self-driven ride through snowy trails (about 15 minutes). You can also pre-book a musher-driven tour if you prefer to sit back and enjoy the view.

After the ride, thank your huskies and snap some heartwarming photos. Then, join a guided kennel tour and hear stories about the dogs’ lives and training. A highlight is the free-run enclosure, where selected huskies roam freely perfect for relaxed interactions and natural photos.

The experience ends with a cozy break in a traditional yurt hut by an open fire. Enjoy warm berry juice, homemade cookies, and husky tales from your hosts.
