Summer Café Sipuran Navetta - Lahti's Oldest

The oldest building in Lahti, Sipuran Navetta, is a unique attraction. The stone barn was built after the mid-18th century and has now been renovated for meeting and party use.

There is a summer café on the upper level of the barn. The summer café is open from Wednesday to Sunday from 11:00 to 18:00. We will operate this way until the end of August. After that, we will continue with the same opening hours, weather permitting.

Sipuran Navetta is located on the shores of Lake Alasenjärvi in the Ahtiala district of Lahti, about 8 km northeast of the city center. Address Sipurantie 28, 15320 Lahti.

Welcome to enjoy a coffee and refreshments. Coffee, pastries, snacks and refreshments are available. There is a high-quality art exhibition on the ground floor of the barn - the exhibitors are Marja-Leena Kajander from Helsinki and Henna Nuutinen from Lahti.

The courtyard and its buildings date back to the early 19th century, and the history of its old stone barn dates back to the late 18th century.

Sipuran Navetta - Lahti's Oldest - offers opportunities for events for over 100 people.

On the ground floor of the barn there is a large hall with natural stone walls, which is an excellent space for celebrations, as well as for art exhibitions and an art gallery. The solid one and a half meter thick stone walls create a natural atmosphere.
